When we created this mini collection inspired by Eastern Europe, we thought about what was common here and seen as something crazy abroad. 30 years ago, following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the opening of state walls, Eastern European countries gained access to new products and trends from the Western world. And at that time, white socks were the state-of-art, latest on-trend and hip thing on the streets. Everybody wanted fresh, white athletic socks. And it didn’t matter where you’d go – either to the university, or a wedding with a suit or even with slippers – white socks had to always be a part of your look. Street cred guaranteed!
